Dust Suppression Ground – DSG
DSG is a styrene acrylic based polymer emulsion that is dispensed straight from the IBC that is supplied in, into the already filled water cart that will be used for the application on either a road or an exposed area.
DSG can be used in combination with our green dye so that any treated areas can be identified as treated if required.
DSG is used on tailings, roads and exposed areas for ground and erosion control.
What Does The Product Do
DSG produces a tacky mixture that when dried, binds fine particles together in a homogenous polymer skin. DSG is water resistant and is insoluable. A DSG skin, depending on dosage can last from 1 week to 18 months on non-trafficked areas.
What Does The Product Achieve
DSG creates a flexible but strong skin by effectively gluing the fine and semi-coarse soil particles together in an impermeable polymer linked membrane.
Dosage and Application
1% to 5% solution I.e 1L to 5L for every 100L of water – This will be advised on when the client shares their scope and material type
Applied at 1L to 2L of solution per m2 on non-trafficked areas
