TRP is a concentrated proprietary liquid mixture that is added into the tyre chamber of Haul Trucks and left there for the life of the tyre or the next tyre change.
What Does The Product Do
TRP works by effectively providing cooling, tire inner liner protection and rim protection from rust and corrosion.
What Does The Product Achieve
Cooling: TRP achieves approximately a 10% reduction in operating temperature, increasing the TKPH threshold. This reduces the possibility of heat separation tyre failures.
Inner Liner Protection: TRP creates a film of protection on the inner liner of the tyre to reduce the possibility of it drying out and becoming brittle.
Rust and Corrosion Prevention on the Rim: TRP maintains the integrity of the rim, preventing rust from forming. An added benefit is improved mount and dis-mount times during tyre changes.
Reduction in Possibility of Fires and Explosions: Being a non-flammable liquid, TRP reduces the possibility of flash or ignition.
Identification of Tyre Cuts: TRP is a viscous green liquid that will exit the tyre via any cuts or minor separations allowing identification of any emerging tyre failure locations. Acting as an early warning, there is a possibility to repair the tyre before irreparable damage occurs.
Increased Tyre Life Hours: The benefits of TRP directly relate to an increase of average tyre life. This can be effectively quantitatively assessed after 6-8months of usage.
