What to include in a quote request

  • The RFQ, tender or BOQ, if you have one: attach it whole.
  • Your name, your company or municipality, and a phone number or e-mail address.
  • The delivery town and site: street address, GPS pin, depot or mine.
  • The date you need it, or the delivery period the RFQ sets, and whether it is one delivery or call-offs.
  • Each quantity with its unit: litres, 200 L drums, 1,000 L flowbins, bulk loads, bags, tonnes, m², m³, linear metres or tyres.
  • Offloading: who offloads, and whether there is a forklift or loading bay; for bulk loads, tanker access and the size of the receiving tank.
  • The RFQ, tender or BOQ reference, the BOQ item wording and the closing date.
  • The documents you need with the quote, such as data sheets and safety data sheets.

What should I include in a quote request?

The products and quantities (bags, drums, litres or tonnes), the delivery site or town, the date you need it, and the tender, RFQ or order reference if there is one. A BOQ or specification lets Igugu Industries quote line by line.

Can I send a BOQ or specification file?

Yes. Attach it to the e-mail or WhatsApp message the form opens, or send it to sales@iguguindustries.co.za. Igugu Industries prices every line it supplies and tells you which lines it does not.

Is anything sent before I press send?

No. The form on Igugu Industries’ contact page opens a ready-written e-mail or WhatsApp message in your own app, and nothing reaches us until you send it there. What you type is kept only in your own browser, never on a server, and you can clear it at any time.
