DustBinder Lignin Road Dust Suppression
Igugu Industries manufactures and supplies DustBinder Lignin, a high-solids lignin sulphonate road dust binder for haul roads, ramps, access roads and in-pit roads. Mixed into the water cart, it binds the fines into a firm, flexible crust: less dust, less grading, and water use reduced by about 70% a month. Supplied in drums, flowbins or bulk, depending on the product, and delivered to the mine in all nine provinces.

How it works
DustBinder Lignin is a dark brown, high-solids lignin sulphonate (lignosulphonate). Mixed with water in the water cart and sprayed on the road, it penetrates the surface and binds the fine particles into a firm yet flexible crust that holds the dust down. Once dry, the surface is stabilised; when the road needs work, re-wet it and it can be maintained and regraded.
